General event FAQ:
How do I get tickets to the event?
Tickets are not sold on iboevents.com but can be ordered through your Business Support Team.
To purchase tickets online please visit www.ibocity.com or www.ibocentral.com. Separate tickets are sometimes required for training and workshops. Tickets are also available at the event box office for all events and workshops however advance purchase is strongly recommended.
When will my credit card be charged for the hotel?
A valid credit or debit card is required to book your hotel reservation with us. The hotel may charge your first night's deposit up to 30 days prior to the event, and this first night's deposit is non-refundable at this point. I called the hotel and they don't have my reservation?
We do not download our reservations into the hotels system until just prior to the event. We reiterate on your confirmation to please do NOT call the hotel directly until at least weeks prior to the event. We have contracted blocks of rooms with the hotel, so rest assured if you book a reservation through us, your reservation is indeed confirmed.
I need to cancel my hotel reservation, but it is after the deadline, can I get a refund?
The deadline to cancel is a firm date and it is enforced by a contract with the hotels. We recommend you check with others in your network to see if anyone else needs a room and work out transferring your reservation to them. You can change the name on your reservation and work out transferring the deposit between you and the other participant. Hotels cannot refund deposits once they have been charged.
How do I make sure I get a room with a king/queen/double bed?
When making your reservation please select the room type you prefer - this will be passed on to the hotel, but please note that requests such as bed size, smoking/non-smoking, minifridge/coffee makers and requests to be on the same floor/near another attendee are not quaranteed. The hotel will do their best to match your requests, but due to supply limitations they may not be available.

How do I update my credit card?

HERE. Select the reservation you wish to update, scroll down to the credit card area and click on "change". Edit the current card or add a new card and click on "save". If you do not see your updated card please
right click and refresh the screen - your card should appear for you to select and save.
How do I book more than one room?
To book 2-4 rooms you will need to book each individually. Follow the link to the event's reservation page. If you have booked with us before on Step 4 you enter your email & password. If you have not booked before then you complete the lower section. After finishing room 1 (remember to print your confirmation) you will return to the log in page and book your second room - on Step 4 you will enter only your email and password as your account was just created. Continue as above for rooms 3 & 4.

Using Internet Explorer and get a Security Warning?

We use a features on our site called Live Help and Babel Fish. Live Help is software where you can "Chat" with a live person during normal business hours without having to wait for emails to go back and forth. Babel Fish can be used to translate pages into a preferred language. Both of these are embedded in our site with javascript language. If you select YES, you can still view the page - but Babel Fish and Live Help may not function properly.
